Communication Time Line Example
The first tool is the Communication Time Line. It shows some of the key change activities and topics to communicate.
Use this example when you think about your own change and communication efforts. You can modify it to fit the needs of your organization/project.
Refer to your Communication Plan daily or very frequently to stay on track with developing and delivering thoughtful and timely communication to stakeholders.
Determine the best date and time to send your communication. Begin developing your message at least two weeks before that date and time to ensure that you have thoughtfully developed your messaging. Be sure to have it reviewed and approved (as needed) and that you complete all the steps necessary to send it on time. Create your e-mail and rehearse your presentation as well.
